Description: The washing place is supplied with the same water as the nearby Fuente de la Reina. The water rises within a rectangular pool bordered by four scrubbing stones on each side. Visitors can approach stealthily and appreciate large barbs coming from under the rock where the water enters the pool. It is the oldest and most famous washing place of the municipality. It was much used by the washing ladies in all seasons of the year. Nowadays it is difficult to imagine the place alive with the activity of the past. It has been restored now and is used as a recreational area.
