Description: We know of its existence, at least since the middle of the eighteenth century (1748), although the spring supplying it with water was already exploited since Roman times. Used as fountain and trough, the structure presents an interesting play of curved lines that gives a sensation of movement to it. The central part has a small alcove whose purpose was to combine sacrum with functionality, original formula used in several constructions of the time. Throughout its history, Fuente Lucena has suffered many alterations and restorations. The origin of its name is traditionally attributed to a family from Lucena (Cordoba), who lived in the neighborhood.
