Festival of Pizarra. From 14th to 18 August. At noon on the 14th the festivities begin with the ringing of bells and fireworks. In the afternoon, the Virgin is transferred from her hermitage to the church. On the 15th, the festivity of the Virgin, a solemn celebration takes place followed by an offering of flowers to the Virgin. At night, during the procession, which takes place one year in the upper part of the town and the next in the lower part, there is a traditional «lottery», a custom that is celebrated from immemorial times, in which the villagers buy some tickets which they deliver to the person who guides the throne by a shout of «stop» and they get to carry the throne until the shout of another stop. With the closure of the procession, the religious ceremonies conclude and the fiesta continues until the 18th.
