Description: The chapel of Cristo de la Sierra (Christ of the Mountains) is high up on the mountain in the Sierra de Abdalajís. The construction was completed in 1954, coinciding with the creation of the Cofradía (Brotherhood) de la Romería, to shelter the image of the Santisimo Cristo de la Sierra. The simple structure has only one nave for the chapel, in which the image of the Christ is displayed.
