Almogía, “La Bonita” (the pretty one), as the Arabs called it, is located at a strategic point west of the Mountains of Malaga, which has resulted relevant since ancient times as revealed by the remains of Roman paved roads found in the surroundings. It is a village of narrow streets and houses hanging off the hills and a rugged landscape with olive, almond and pine trees.
